Election Day November 6
It's Halloween, and the only thing scarier than the skeletons and witches running around the state is what may happen to women's rights if we don't all do everything we can to elect pro-women candidates on November 6. Here's what you can do:
VOTE:
There has never been a more important year for women and our male allies to get out and vote! Polls will be open generally from 7am-8pm, so there's plenty of opportunity to work voting into your day. Redistricting may have affected the location of your polling place, so double check before you head out. You can check your voter registration here.
VOLUNTEER:
Planned Parenthood Get Out The Vote Phone Banks at 111 Point Street on Thursday, November 1 from 5-8pm, Saturday, November 3 from 10am-4pm, Sunday between noon and 6pm, or Monday, November 5 from 5-8pm. Sign up to volunteer here.
Fight Back RI Get Out The Vote Phone Banks in support of Marriage Equality will be held Thursday 6-9pm at 236 Hope Street, Friday 4:30-7:30pm at 1 Park Row, Saturday 10-6 at 1 Park Row, and Sunday 11-7 at 1 Park Row. Contact Dawn Euer for more details.
