Living the Dream: One Family's
Extraordinary Journey Around the World
Do you ever dream of leaving your job, packing your bags and saying goodbye to the rest of your life to travel the world? Larry Weinberg is an avid entrepreneur, but in 2010, Larry and his wife, Kim, a leadership coach and facilitator, realized their dream of traveling around the world with their young children. Over a nine-month period, the Weinbergs visited 26 countries on five continents, an experience that brought the family closer together as they learned from other cultures, completed community service projects, and saw some of the world's most fascinating sites. Many people dream of such an adventure, but few of us actually do it. Learn about the preparation - and courage - it took to make this vision real, as well as the family practices that made it a success. Kim and Larry will also share how they've used visioning as a family to guide their trip and their future plans. If you've ever dreamed of taking a life-changing trip, whether with your family or solo, don't miss this show.

This week on Visionary Leader, Extraordinary Life, we replayed our show with 13-time Paralympic Medalist and Executive Director of One Revolution, Chris Waddell. The Winter Olympics in Sochi have captivated the Nebo team. The skiing, snowboarding, hockey and pairs ice dancing are among our staff's favorite events, but we especially love the artistry of figure skating. Click here or on the photo for the video of Russian figure skater Adelina Sotnikova's gold-medal winning performance.
As with any sporting event, the personal and political stories behind the Games can be even more intriguing than the athletic competitions themselves. Hearing Alex Bilodeau cite his older brother Frederic, who has cerebral palsy, as his inspiration and motivation to train and achieve his dreams was a warm reminder of the spirit of the Olympics. We have also witnessed athletes who remind us that there are events unfolding around the globe that are bigger event than sports: Bogdana Matsotska, a Ukrainian skier, has stepped down from the competition in solidarity with the protesters in her home country.
We hope you have enjoyed the chance to marvel at the Olympians' amazing athletic feats and have taken some inspiration from those who have worked hard to make their vision real!
