ScaleUp Aurora Named Best-In-Class Resource for Women Business Owners

ScaleUp Aurora, a 12-week program that gives owners of high potential established business the tools to grow, has been named by the National Women's Business Council as a best-in-class resource for women business owners.

Offered at no charge, the course provides entrepreneurial education, financial advice and loan assistance, one-on-one mentoring, networking and alumni support.

IDHA announces I-Refi

The Illinois Housing Development Authority (IDHA) is pleased to announce I-Refi, the first-of-its-kind refinance product for homeowners who owe more than their home is worth.

Starting August 1st, income-eligible homeowners can apply to receive up to $50,000 to buy down the principal balance on their current mortgage and refinance into a new, 30-year fixed rate mortgage that will be within 90% to 97% LTV based on the current appraised value.

PINK: Procurement Information You Need to Know

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Chicago District will host a Procurement Information you Need to Know (PINK) Workshop.

In conjunction with the WBDC's Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center; Small Business Administration, and General Services Administration, this workshop will focus on educating women small business owners about the supplies and services USACE procures and socioeconomic goals; clarify the difference between federal, state and local government procurement, obtaining WOSB/EDWOSB Certification, and best practices to better position your business.

Registration is limited to 200 individuals and will not be accepted AFTER 4PM CST, August 1st.
