Dear Pastors, Friends and Family,

We are rejoicing in God's presence at our Network Conference 2016 held in Baltimore, Maryland. One of the many highlights was the C32 Luncheon held on May 2nd with over 400 people in attendance.

I want to take this opportunity to thank those of you who were able to attend. I hope you sensed the excitement for what can be accomplished through the C32 Initiative. During this time, we were introduced to 17 Church planting families and had the opportunity to hear the hearts of one of our City Reach Planting partners, Stevie Grylls, our very own Pastor Stan Grant, Executive Presbyter and our Superintendent, Pastor Ken Burtram.

Unleashing spiritual and community transformation in the four major urban centers of the Potomac Ministry Network is vitally important for us to reach people for Christ in our communities. Through the C32 Initiative, we hope to facilitate a self-propagating, self-sustaining church planting movement that will enable us to fulfill the Great Commission like never before. In other words, through these 32 churches, we will be unleashing a movement of churches planting churches.

The Network has made a commitment to these church planters. It is up to us to make sure they have the financial resourcing needed to launch. Pastor Ken and Johnese are personally behind the vision and have submitted their financial pledge of support.

We are being carefully guided and trained through Generis in order to raise the necessary funds for this Initiative to be successful and sustainable. And, we are hopeful that every church in our Network will support the C32 Initiative financially. Our C32 Leadership Team will be connecting with all of our Network pastors. As the Team members reach out to you, we would be very grateful if you would receive their call and prepare to make a financial commitment.

Thank you again for your interest in C32 and the expansion of God's Kingdom in The Potomac Ministry Network.

We are excited to introduce to you another church planter in this Church Planter Profile- Travis and Brittany Jones.

Travis Jones

Travis is a graduate of Southeastern University and recently received his M.Div from Regent University this past May. He has extensive experience in church ministry in both the suburban and urban context. He has a passionate heart for Richmond and desires greatly to bring the love of Jesus to this great city. His personal philosophy of ministry includes the emphasis on faithful worship, creating a community to serve and bring biblical knowledge and wisdom and also to train leaders. Mostly, he desires that the church be known for how we serve, love, worship and celebrate.

Travis and his lovely wife Brittany, have 2 sweet daughters and currently serve at Cornerstone Assembly of God in North Chesterfield, VA.

"Talking to men for God is a great thing, but talking to God for men is greater still." E.M. Bounds

This quote by E.M. Bounds is a gentle reminder of the importance of undergirding our C32 Initiative in prayer.  Over the summer, we will continue to pray for our cities - our planters, our parents and partners, our financial provision and especially for God to bless an abundant harvest of souls.  We know that we may not ALL be church planters and yet we can all participate in that which is most important- PRAYER.

We'd love for you to consider hosting one of our
City Quake gatherings
.

Please know, you don't need to be located in the city to pray for the city.  The only requirement would be to offer a gathering place.

If you are interested in hosting, please contact the Church Planting Office at 703-753-2814.
