Roger Taneus
Roger is a church planter and an experienced professional life coach through Erickson College. He has helped many people navigate through life's struggles through a Christian-based life coaching framework.
Throughout his career, Roger has worked in several pastoral, chaplaincy, coaching, and spiritual counseling roles.
Most recently, he has served as a hospice chaplain responsible for the entire Hudson County, New Jersey area. In this role, Roger met the chaplaincy needs of over 95 hospice patients and their families. This included providing direct chaplaincy services to end of life patients and their families.
Roger has specialized training in providing spiritual counseling in hospital settings.
He worked at the Veterans Administration hospital in Manhattan, New York. There, Roger worked with patients in the critical care, surgery, palliative care/hospice, substance abuse domiciliary, and long term care units. Roger also has specialized training in post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) pastoral care, starting and leading spirituality & grief support groups, ministering in an inter-faith context, working with disabled and returning veterans, and working with patients in substance abuse recovery.
Roger graduated with Honors from Regent School of Divinity with a Master of Divinity. He is also a distinquished graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Not only is Roger passionate about life coaching preaching, teaching and ministering to those in need, he also loves learning and applying truths from the Bible to every day life; teaching at AGAPE Life church and local area churches; going to the beach; watching movies; and of course watching Netflix.
Roger has a passionate heart for Baltimore City and desires to focus on relationships, teaching and healing in this Church Plant.
