THE FOUNDRY CHURCH
MORGANTOWN, WV
LAUNCHED AUGUST 30, 2015
Greetings from the The Foundry Church in Morgantown, WV!

We're so excited to write after our Grand Opening of The Foundry Church, located in downtown Morgantown, just steps from the West Virginia University campus!  The weekend was filled with much excitement as we celebrated with over 150 of our closest friends and family from the community of Morgantown and beyond!  We also had the privilege to baptize 12 folks after the conclusion of our Grand Opening Service in our parking lot with a portable baptismal courtesy of our parent church, New Life Church in Weirton, WV.

There was such a sweet spirit in the building as we, as the church, worshiped, celebrated, and sought to gain a better understanding of how we will continue to without limit Love God and Love People in our community.  Folks were challenged to become "Wells of Living Water" that would be poured out in our homes, schools, work place and all other places that we frequent with God's people.  It was truly an amazing day!

I want to personally say "Thank You" from the bottom of my heart to the Potomac Ministry Network for all of your prayer and support in this process of The Foundry Church becoming a reality in Morgantown, WV.  Without you all, we couldn't have realized so much growth in such a short period of time.  Pastor Ken, Thank You.  Pastor Rob, Thank You.  Pastor John, Thank You.  Without your partnerships, we wouldn't be where we're at today.  Thank You!

THE CHURCH AT SKYLINE
FRONT ROYAL, VA

On Sunday, August 30, 2015 Christ Chapel Mountaintop - The Church at Skyline celebrated changed lives and new beginnings at a very special service.  Worshipers, friends and family joined together under a tent by the Shenandoah river.

This church, which began 7 months ago under the direction of Pastor Butch Hammond and his wife Lisa, along with the leadership of Pastor Rob Seagears, had it's very first baby dedication and baptized over 24 people! Each person to be baptized shared just how amazing God has worked in their lives and all were moved and greatly encouraged.

The service concluded with an awesome picnic complete with fried chicken, fresh green beans, Texas sheet cake and plenty of the most delicious summer foods.

I will be sending you occasional updates on what is happening with our new churches.  We are excited to see the Spirit moving through the Potomac Ministry Network.  Thanks for reading!
