Help Us Mend Fences

In July two fires damaged over 2 kilometres of fencing on the Twin Lakes Conservation Area in the White Lake Basin of the South Okanagan. It appears both fires were deliberately started. The fences are multi-purpose: keeping cattle out of riparian areas and off of roadways; and keeping off-road vehicles off of grasslands.

We would like to thank Princeton Wood Preservers for donating posts and Tree Island Steel for providing wire to replace the fencing.

If you would like to help us install this new fencing, donations can be made online, by calling our office at 1-866-288-7878 or by mailing a cheque to #260 1000 Roosevelt Crescent, North Vancouver, BC V7P 3R4

Matching Gifts

Corporate Matching Gift Programs are a great way to increase the impact of a charitable gift. Recently we were delighted to receive a gift which was matched by TELUS.

"I'm happy to support The Nature Trust. I appreciate the work you are doing to preserve the incredible natural environment of British Columbia. Our province is home to a wealth of animal and plant species that merit the protection that can only come from protected, non-developed land."

Randy King

We encourage you to check out your employee or board benefits and see if your gift to The Nature Trust can be matched. For more information on Corporate Matching Gift programs, please contact Deb Kennedy at 604-924-9771 ext. 231 or [email protected]
