Celebrating Brant Geese
24th Brant Wildlife Festival

Thank you to the many individuals and organizations that helped with the 24th Brant Wildlife Festival on Vancouver Island.

The festival celebrated nature, particularly the amazing migration of Brant geese as they rest and feed on the shores of Parksville and Qualicum Beach. Events ranged from herring spawn tours and wildlife viewing to guest speakers and kids camps. The festival was made possible by volunteer tour leaders, guest speakers, and artists.

The Nature Trust of BC coordinated the festival with sponsorship from BC Ferries, Beach Club Resort, City of Parksville, Lohn Foundation, Mid Island Co-op, Pacific Rainforest Adventure Tours, and TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.
