A Message from our President

At the Chamber, we strive to give your business opportunities for greater exposure to your potential customers and recognition by your peers. That's why for the first time ever, we're partnering with the Republican-American to produce our annual Membership Directory and Resource Guide.

In the past, our directory was distributed to our nearly 1,000 members. This year, it will be distributed to over 30,000 subscribers of the Republican-American. That's 30 times more exposure for your business, allowing us to promote you in a broader and more effective way. The best part of this partnership for our members is that our advertising rates haven't changed, giving our advertisers phenomenally increased value for their investment. If you're interested in this advertising opportunity, let us know and we would be happy to put you in touch with a Republican-American advertising representative.

Another initiative we are excited to launch is the 1st Annual Greater Waterbury Restaurant Week, which will take place from September 11-16 this year. Participating restaurants will gain amazing exposure while they offer great deals to patrons on delicious meals. Be on the lookout as we near September for details on participating restaurants and menus.

These new initiatives come to you in addition to the longstanding resources, programs and events we offer our members. While we prepare to launch these projects, we're also preparing to bring you the 22nd Annual Malcolm Baldrige Awards Evening. Nominations for this prestigious award are due by July 15th, and I encourage our members to suggest candidates for recognition as well as contact us with any interest in sponsorship or silent auction donation.
You can click here to view the nomination form.
