WISHING YOU A GREAT FESTIVE SEASON FROM AQUATERRA!
Dear Traveler,
This year has flown by yet again, as time usually does. We thank you again for your support over the years.
Finishing 20 years in operation has had its challenges and rewards, and this year was emphatic with appreciation coming from our peers, with us winning the Outlook 'Best Boutique Tour Operator" Award. We continue to build on quality trips, and have two new offerings in 2015, including a splendid departure to Morocco and later in the year to New Zealand, so plan now!
| The Aqua Terra Challenge, A Preview.. |
another effort in the adventure racing space. The Jan 25, 2015 Chadar trek departure has very limited spaces left, so if you fancy a sub zero winter walking experience, there is not much to match this little gem.
Wishing you a Happy Diwali & Thanksgiving in advance.

Honestly, it does not get bigger than this !
An exciting, true life expedition journey into India's tribal north - east and down one of the world's greatest rivers. The Tsang Po, after flowing gently eastwards through Tibet, cuts the Greater Himalaya and the highest unclimbed mountain in the world, Namche Barwa before it enters Arunachal Pradesh, where it is called the Chiang, Siang, and the Dihang as it descends the final 200 kms to the plains of India. Our expedition begins a few miles inside the line-of-control with China. Your journey begins with a ferry boat ride at Dibrugarh on the mighty Brahmaputra, and up the densely forested river valley from the plains of Pasighat to our starting point. We travel through remote hillsides dotted with tribal settlements in clearings surrounded by dense rainforest with many species of ferns, palms and orchids. Bamboo and cane bridges built by the local tribes ; and village visits add to the exciting experience. Email us if you are keen to join

CHADAR TREK JAN 25-FEB 5, 2015
Limited Spots Left!
Zanskar - a remote valley in Ladakh is the fabled "Land of White Copper" - a land of glaciers and extreme cold, snow leopards and the ibex, black wolves and the rare Himalayan blue poppy, and of spirits and monks. At an average altitude of over 13,000 ft, the strange aspect of this valley is that it has no entrance. The two rivers that flow in it meet to carve a gorge so long and deep that one cannot travel down it to enter or exit the region. The only way out is crossing the Zanskar range of mountains, through high passes that are closed eight months in a year. This gorge of the Zanskar therefore, remains un-trekkable during the summer when the snow melt sends the river raging, but forms a corridor of ice in winter which serves as the only way, albeit dangerous, out of the Zanskar valley.
