The reason we race isn't so much to beat each other, but to be with each other

The Challenge
In December 2014,  teams will  pit skills against each other in a one-of-a-kind time trial, racing on land and water to win the 2nd edition of the Aqua Terra Challenge.

The only adventure race in the country involving trail, mountain bike and river, the Aqua Terra Challenge beckons you to combine  your skills, teamwork and your abilities to the fore, making it the foremost multi discipline adventure races in India today.

Look up www.aquaterrachallenge.com for details

Set in the valley of the Upper Ganga in the Garhwal Himalaya, the event is spread over 2 days of challenge, involving a time based grueling walk followed by a 16km cycling leg to the third and very exciting leg of the event - a 30 km raft / inflatable kayak race down the mighty Ganges.
Should I Race?

The Aqua TerraChallenge is set in an arena that does justice to this 2 day multi-stage event.

This adventure race is designed to appeal to wide set - from complete novices to the more experienced adventure racers.  If you have a team that wants to go out and test themselves, and to help raise funds for a cause, we would be glad to have you participate!

How Do I Prepare?

What you need is a team of similar aspirations, fitness levels and a go attitude. Very important - carrying an infectious sense of humor will go a long way.
Last year ACT helped raise funds to rehabilitate families who had lost homes in the Uttarakhand floods, and  donated 54 laptops to schools in the region to aid education. This year, we continue to work towards rehab and education.
