Welcome to your library calendar of events. We have compiled some wonderful events and look forward to seeing you at one or maybe all of them. 
September 1 - 9
September every Monday thru Thursday: 10am, 11am, & 12pm One-on-One Computer Help, Monday - Resume Help, Tuesday - Excel or PowerPoint, Wednesday - Microsoft Word, & Thursday - Internet or eReader Help. Call Gloria at 252-442-1951 ext. 256 and setup an appointment. The sessions are 45 minutes.
 
September 1: 5:30-7:30 Teen Movie Night, Snacks and a movie in the Computer Lab.

September 1: 6-7:30pm "Let's Talk About It" NC Humanities Council presents the book series "Explorations of Faith in Literature." Tom Douglass, Associate Professor of English at East Carolina University will begin the books series with the discussion of "Peace Like a River" by Leif Enger in the Warner Room. September 6: 5:45-7:45pm 1st Tuesday for Small Business Computer Lab: The Rocky Mount Chapter of S.C.O.R.E. presents Financing Your Business with David Grant. Please register to attend by calling the Information Services Desk at 252-442-1951 ext. 241.

September 7: 5:30-7:30pm Teen Minecraft Club Work with other teens to design and create in the world of Minecraft in the 2nd floor Computer Lab

September 8: 5-7:30pm BML's Virtual Read-Out Filming Party Help film a video for Banned Books Week

September 8: 6-7:30 pm "Let's Talk About It" NC Humanities Council presents the book series "Explorations of Faith in Literature." Rebecca Godwin, Professor of English at Barton College will lead the discussion on the book "Ceremony" by Leslie Marmon Silko in the Warner Room. September 14: 5:30-7pm Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
The TAB provides feedback and ideas for our teen programs. Join us and let your voice be heard in the Wiley Room.
September 17-23
September 16: All Day "Read an eBook Day" is a celebration of modern storytelling. Be a part of the festivities by checking out your favorite eBook from your library and join the conversation below by sharing what you're reading and stories about why you love eBooks and by using the hashtag #eBookLove #BraswellLibrary on social media.

September 17: 1-2pm Raising a Reader Family Story Time Enjoy an exciting and enlightening family story time with the ladies of the Braswell Memorial Library's Raising a Reader program. For more information contact Jennifer Stearns at (252)442-1951 ext.233 or jstearns@braswell-library.org

September 20: 4:30-5:30pm "Kyokushin Karate" Christian Buffaloe, All American National Karate Champion, will demonstrate the fast knockouts of Kyokushin Karate. Come join us to learn about the rigorous requirements of training and tournaments to master this form of martial arts. September 2: 2-3pm Photo Club- *Adults and Teens* Open to all ages and skill levels, join us this month as we discuss the upcoming Shoot the Stars Photo Contest and subsequent Library Gallery exhibit. Please contact Joetta Pittman 252-442-1951 ext. 239.
 
September 24: 3:15-4:30pm Coloring Club - *Adults and Teens* Spend a relaxing afternoon at the Library coloring to your hearts content. We provide the supplies, you provide the relaxation time. Please contact
