A SEAT AT THE TABLE TRAINING: A DISCUSSION ON BOARD SERVICE
On Wednesday, March 9, 2016, CUP members gathered for 'A Discussion on Board Service', hosted by Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Paul Griffith, Founder and CEO of CUP's Nonprofit Partner, The Possibility Project, led the discussion on realities of non-profit board service, tools that members can use to assess which board roles may be right for them and how to get started.

This event is part of CUP's A Seat at the Table board matching initiative. DISTINGUISHED LEADERSHIP SERIES: 2020 VISION - THE FUTURE OF WORK WITH MILLENNIAL LEADERS
On Wednesday, March 23, 2016, CUP held a Distinguished Leadership Series event: 2020 Vision - The Future of Work with Millennial Leaders hosted by Citi. The evening's program included a panel discussion featuring: Bridget Fawcett, Global Head of Strategy and Business Development at Citi, Sebastian Rea, Content Operations Manager at Tribeca Film, and Jennifer Zephirin, Chief Marketing Officer & Vice President at the Center for Talent Innovation. CUP CATALYSTS CRITERIA:  
  • Extraordinary Professional Success 
  • Demonstrated Commitment to Community Leadership (e.g., Volunteerism, Mentoring, Philanthropy) 
  • Board Service (Nonprofit, Public or Private Sector) 
  • Age Range: 35-50 years (Finance & Law) 30 - 50 years (Media & Entertainment)
Finance Catalyst: Managing Director or Equivalent Title and Above
