On Thursday, July 9, CUP members attended an A Seat at the Table training on The Art of Fundraising, hosted by our nonprofit partner, Graham Windham. Attendees were joined by Graham Windham's Executive Director, Jess Dannhauser, Board Secretary Barbara Marcus, and Senior Advisor of Communications and External Affairs, Harry Berberian. If you are interested in joining a nonprofit board, contact Nina Pascucci at npascucci@nycup.org to learn more about CUP's board trainings and board matching program.

CUP LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE PARTICIPANTS ATTEND SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK

On Monday, July 27, CUP Fellows and Executive Leadership Program participants attended a performance of Shakespeare's Cymbeline in Central Park. The Public Theater invited CUP Leadership Institute participants to attend as part of our A Seat at the Table board matching initiative. The Public Theater's vision is to have great theater available to the widest audience possible: they do this through their Shakespeare in the Park and Astor Place performances, providing free or low cost tickets to productions of new plays, musicals and the classics, as well as over 800 shows a year in Joe's Pub. If you are interested in joining a nonprofit board, contact Nina Pascucci at npascucci@nycup.org to learn more about CUP's board matching program.
