On Thursday, May 28, CUP presented A Breakfast Conversation with Monique R. Herena hosted by BNY Mellon. The event featured a conversation with Monique R. Herena, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at BNY Mellon, and was moderated by Jyoti Chopra, Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion in Human Resources at BNY Mellon. Monique shared a framework and philosophy for a path to leadership and essential leadership skills for success.

POWER SERIES: 5TH ANNUAL DIGITAL POWER LUNCH
On Thursday, June 4, CUP hosted its 5th Annual Digital Power Lunch, gathering fifty power players from the digital and technology industries to facilitate information exchange and industry connections. The keynote conversation featured David Eun, Executive Vice President, Global Innovation Center at Samsung Electronics, and Ty Ahmad-Taylor, Vice President of Smart TV Services at Samsung Electronics. CUP FELLOWS GIVE BACK BY RESTORING NYC COMMUNITY GARDEN
On Saturday, June 13, the 2015 CUP Fellows volunteered with GrowNYC, to restore Miracle Garden in the East Village, which has served surrounding communities since 1983 as a space for neighborhood celebrations and more. The Fellows planted, mulched, and repaired a fence, creating a clean and beautiful environment for future generations to enjoy.

CUP MEMBER TRAINING: MAXIMIZING YOUR EXECUTIVE PRESENCE
On Tuesday, June 16, CUP presented a CUP Member Training on Maximizing Your Executive Presence & Communication, hosted by Creative Artists Agency. This intimate group coaching session, facilitated by Jeff Jacobi and Rosemary Sykes of Jacobi Persuasive Speaking, provided attendees with communication techniques to inspire and influence any audience. Participants presented while being videotaped and received targeted feedback.
