CONNECTIONS & OPPORTUNITIES
We love to hear how CUP members are connecting with and empowering one another!
As part of CUP's 2015 strategic plan, we are working to raise our collective expectation about the ways that we create real connections that turn into specific, tangible, and innovative opportunities to enhance our impact. We define 'connections' as deliberate introductions between potential collaborators, business referrals, or real connections made at events. We define 'opportunities' as the results that benefit from the many connections, including invitations to join boards of a nonprofit, cultural or public sector organization; or a business deal; or an opportunity to speak to a new audience. CUP creates forums where our members can meet like-minded professionals and give back to their communities. As members of our diverse cross-sector network, you are committed to each other's success, you help identify real opportunities to collaborate, and you find ways to actively champion one another. Already this year, you have reported close to 2,100 new connections and generated 50 new opportunities! We love to hear how CUP members are connecting with and empowering one another!
Please email Taylor Biancone at tbiancone@nycup.org and let us know if you have made a connection or opportunity through the CUP community. (We understand that these connections and opportunities may be confidential. Just let us know if that is the case and we promise to keep them that way.)
