The dance year @ Latinissimo has officially started and we kicked off earlier this week with Salsa and Zouk courses!

Tonight we are starting the NEW BACHATA OPEN level course @ 6:15pm followed by Auckland's most exciting SALSA INTERMEDIATE course @ 7:15pm! Gian has some great, exciting and flashy moves for you all! Shines, styling and partner work!
Don't forget, on Thursday 23 January @ 7pm, we will have an INFO MEETING for our upcoming PERFORMANCE TEAMS! Lots to choose from and no obligation to join when attending the info meeting. Come along and learn about everything that is involved. Hard to believe that Latinissimo's performance teams is in its 8 year running! Now that you can dance Salsa (On1), let us introduce you to Salsa "On2" - also known New York Style Mambo! Mambo is danced on the upbeat of salsa music (2 & 6), which changes the dynamics and feel of the dance significantly making it a lot smoother. There are certain technical elements to be aware of when wanting to convert Salsa On1 to Salsa On2. It's not as simple as just keeping up with the On2 timing... its a lot deeper than that!
Join us to learn all about it, and why it is so incredibly popular to dance Salsa/Mambo "On2" all over the world!
You will be a "complete" Salsa dancer once you master and understand the "On2" timing.
