Welcome back Tania!
After a long break and recently becoming a mommy to a beautiful baby girl, Tania Mason is ready to get back on the dance floor and pick up where she left off... at the top of the world! For those of you who don't know Tania. She is New Zealand's first and only World Salsa Champion. Exactly one year ago, Tania & Enrique took out 1st Place at the Aceki World Salsa Championships in Hong Kong. She is also 3x undefeated NZ Amateur Salsa Champion and 2x undefeated NZ Salsa Team Champion with Latinissimo's A-Team. Tania will be part of the Latinissimo crew coaching the upcoming Teams and is also available for private lessons.  This course is aimed for the student who has little or no experience in salsa.  In this course you will learn to combine and create variations of the fundamentals taught in the beginners course, taking your salsa dancing to the next level - Improvers.
You will learn how to make your dancing flow with simple, fun and interesting moves. Basic salsa styling is introduced.

Join us for Intermediate Salsa.
 These classes are for dancers who are familiar with and is comfortable with all the basic steps, turns, partner fundamentals and variations of beginners & improvers.
We will continue with exciting combinations by incorporating even more variations of all the basic fundamentals. You will learn new skills and fundamentals that an intermediate salsa dancers should posses and master.

NEW! Mambo (Salsa "on2") 8wk Beginners (level 1)
Next courseThu 28 Feb @ 6:15pm
 This course is complete beginners to Mambo dancing aka Salsa "on2". Mambo dancing is the what evolved into salsa dancing. In fact, you can dance Mambo to salsa music with no problem. The only difference is the timing of the steps. With no music, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference what is what - that's how similar they are. But once the music comes on, Mambo dancers follow a different timing to Salsa dancers.
The Mambo is the classic way of dancing Salsa. It's smooth, jazzy, elegant and sophisticated. But it can also be vibrant and energetic depending on the music.
In this course we will focus on the basics, fundamentals, the understanding of Mambo's unique timing and musicality and basic lead and following techniques.
