Developing Cross-Sector Competencies for the Infant-Toddler Workforce
The infant-toddler workforce spans a broad range of practitioners from an array of disciplines including early care and education, early intervention, pediatric health, infant mental health, child welfare and social services.  Child Trends' Senior Research Scientist and Co-Director of Early Childhood Research, Tamara Halle will be joining a webinar hosted by ZERO TO THREE Western Office on Thursday, February 7, from 3:00-4:30 EST on developing and implementing cross-disciplinary competencies for infant-toddler practitioners.

 

The Developing Cross-Sector Competencies for the Infant-Toddler Workforce webinar will:
 

  • Describe efforts to develop and implement core competencies for infant/toddler practitioners and consultants.
     
  • Discuss findings from research on the associations between competencies and program quality and child outcomes. 
     
  •  Share recommendations and propose a research agenda.
