FIRST BACK 40 OUTREACH TRIP COMING UP!
|
Thank you to our Back 40 Backers, who are making it possible for us to equip Christians in remote areas to be spiritually healthy. First 2013 Back 40 Trip is coming up!Our first 2013 Back 40 Outreach trip begins on January 22, when we fly to San Jose, Costa Rica to train and coach two different workshop groups in partnership with our missionary friends Geiner and Denise Alvarado. We are finalizing plans for a second Back 40 Outreach trip in March to train and coach church leaders in Guatemala. We ask you to pray for us and ask for God's anointing and provision during this outreach. Thank you! The Back 40 Backers Project is an Ongoing OutreachFunding for the Back 40 Project did not end on December 31. Rather, this project is ongoing. 30 60 100 MINISTRIES will continue to train, coach, and equip Christian leaders who live in geographically remote areas of the world and who hunger for opportunities to grow spiritually. Will you prayerfully consider how you can partner in this great effort? Thank you for giving as the Lord leads!

Feature: HOW TO FIND THE TRUE FIX: Find the Great I AM
| What have you tried to "fix" today? Maybe it's a relationship ... an illness ... a personal weakness ... a struggle at work ...your checkbook ...
In our attempt to fix things, we tap into ourselves. We tap into all kinds of available resources: conferences, books, advice, techniques, tools. Yet we neglect to tap into the life-sustaining, unlimited supply that is ours to access anytime, anywhere. It's as if we sip from tiny, dried-up rivulets rather than going to the limitless body of water that originates them.
The Source of Our Strength Simply "Is"
God, that life-sustaining resource, explains it this way: "I AM" (Exodus 3:14). He doesn't provide the resources we need. He is those resources. The Great "I AM" is everything we need physically, spiritually, and emotionally. In scripture He uses hundreds of metaphors to explain to us His boundless resources: "I am Your Father. I am your Provider. I am your Source of Strength. I am your Shield and Fortress. I am your Healer ..."
Tap the Ultimate Source First
God's identity as the ultimate Source of all we need simply exists, whether we access it or not. And He wants us to look to Him as our supply.
Do you?
Maybe our pride drives us to act first and turn to God later. Maybe our sense of responsibility leads us to "not bother Him." Maybe the array of self-help options distracts us. Maybe we forget God is there. Maybe we're not even aware of the access offered to us as Christ-followers or cannot fathom the limitless depths which He offers us.
 Growth Point
Christ-followers have tremendous access to God's ever-existing, unending supply for every need. Scripture
God said to Moses, "I AM THAT I AM." (Exodus 3:14, ASV) Prayer Points - When you encounter a challenge, what alternatives do you usually consider before you turn to God?
- List reasons you may not access God's strength.
- God said, "I am that I am." Pray this prayer with emphasis, "I am THAT, I am your [Healer, Provider, or your most pressing need right now] ______________."

What People Are Saying ...
|
"The Spiritually Healthy Leader Series has been an enormous blessing! The spiritual aspects have offered great wisdom and challenges in my spiritual life while the very practical applications have helped me in my ministry efforts. I frequently find myself thinking through the lessons from SHL in my efforts to serve the Lord more relationally and effectively."
