AIB Photo Contest: Cast Your Vote Today

Over the past few months America in Bloom has been collecting comunity-submitted photos for its "Planting Pride Photo Contest: Capturing the Spirit of America in Bloom." Sponsored by GIE Media, the contest is aimed at celebrating efforts to beautify and improve communities. Photos are categorized into seven criteria: floral displays, landscaped areas, urban forestry, environmental efforts, heritage preservation, overall impression, and community involvement.

Online voting is available through August 31. The winners will be recognized during the 2013 AIB Symposium & Awards, September 19-21 in Orlando, Florida.

Vote for Your Favorite Flower

Public voting for the American Garden Award, the nation's only flower popularity contest, is now open. This is a unique opportunity for the public to select a specific flower that they think has the most appealing garden characteristics. Each of the four entries can be seen online or at any one of the 31 trial gardens across the United States.
