Who is Invited to Attend
- Eden Mentors, to help them grow in their role
- Certified Eden Associates from organizations on the Eden Registry, to help them grow internal expertise and reduce training costs
- Certified Eden Associates who wish to bring their skills out into the broader world, as agents of change
- Certified Eden at Home Associates to increase their ability to share The Eden Alternative more broadly in their communities
- Eden LifeLong Living advocates who wish to deepen their understanding of the Ten Principles and find new ways to develop their communities
If you are interested, your first step is to review the Certified Eden Educator qualifications. If you are interested, please complete the Eden Educator application and return to Carol Ende at cende@edenalt.org. Applications need to be received at least two weeks before training. Upon receipt of your application, you will be contacted regarding your acceptance into the class. If accepted, you can register for the class and make needed travel arrangements. |

Train the Educator Intensive Details
Becoming an Eden Educator is a powerful way to develop as a culture change professional and to deepen person-directed practice in your organization. For your convenience, here are some details about the this 5-day event, read more here:
- Cost: $1500/person for General Registration, $1200/person fpr Eden Registry Members, $1,200 for the host organization, and $800/person for active Eden Mentors
- Participants meet from 8:30am-5pm all five days
- Morning and afternoon snacks, lunch and some beverages will be provided
- Attendees are responsible for their own travel expenses
- Attendees leave with a growth plan for their development as an Eden Educator, including what support they will need to get started
- Attendees receive an Educator's manual to teach 3-day Certified Eden Associate Trainings, scheduled through the Eden Alternative Home Office. Additional supplies, including the Educator's kit, must be purchased after the class
- Attendees gain an understanding of the business relationship (e.g. Educator fees and contract arrangements) they will have with The Eden Alternative as an Eden Educator
- Attendees develop a strong support team, that begins with those who attend the class with them and extends to the Eden Alternative Home Office team and other Eden Educators
- As new Eden Educators, participants have the opportunity to learn about other Eden Alternative educational offerings to bring to their organization
