ICC Rulemaking for AggregationThe Illinois Commerce Commission has initiated rulemaking which will significantly affect how municipalities will implement and manage their current and future municipal aggregation programs. Municipalities interested in protecting their interests may join with the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus and participate in the rulemaking and challenge to the ICC's jurisdiction to regulate municipal aggregation programs. The Caucus has engaged the law firm of Holland & Knight LLP to represent the Caucus and the coalition of municipalities interested in these proceedings. The cost to participate is $350 per municipality. Please let Dave Bennett know if your municipality is interested in participating. Contact Dave at dbennett@mayorscaucus.org by November 15.
