The ZimmComm Team was spread out from Tampa to Atlanta to San Diego this week.  Cindy and Joanna were in Tampa as Biodiesel Bloggers at the National Biodiesel Conference.  Chuck was in Atlanta at the International Production and Processing Expo   And Jamie was in San Diego for the Cattle Industry Convention & NCBA Trade Show.  As you can imagine we have lots of fresh content on the AgWired websites.
 
Chuck reached a milestone this week with the publishing of episode 500 of the ZimmCast podcast!  In it Cindy interviews new AFBF President Zippy Duvall.  We're pretty sure no one will forget that name.

Trestle Energy Receives CARB Pathway Approval
 
California-based Trestle Energy has received its pathway approval for the production of ethanol from California Air Resources Board (CARB) under the state's Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). Back in 2014, the company received approval by British Columbia. MORE

USDA Provides $9M For Mitigation Opportunities

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack today announced the establishment of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Wetland Mitigation Banking Program, made possible by the 2014 Farm Bill. The program will provide $9 million to help states, local governments or other qualified partners develop wetland mitigation banks that restore, create, or enhance wetland ecosystems, broadening the conservation options available to farmers and ranchers.MORE
