Propane Expands Production, Use Options
Propane is expanding in production and the options for its use. During the recent National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) convention in Kansas City, Missouri, Cindy caught up with Cinch Morgan from the Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) who said that there are 102.4 million barrels of propane in storage right now - a nearly 30 percent increase from a year ago. He credited strong production and a mild grain-drying season for the big inventories right now. MOREPodcast

TASC Poll: Public Unhappy with Hawaii Solar Direction
According to a new poll from the The Alliance for Solar Choice (TASC), in Hawaii, a majority of respondents support political candidates that support solar development as well as rooftop solar. In addition, a majority said they oppose the Public Utilities Commission's (PUC) recent decision to eliminate solar net metering, the fundamental policy for rooftop solar growth according to TASC. DOE Releases 2015 Revolution...Now Report
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently released the 2015 Revolution...Now report, which details the state of multiple clean energy technologies in the U.S. that have the ability to provide climate change solutions. The report builds upon past versions that demonstrate an increase in deployment and a decrease in cost for transformational technologies including: wind turbines, solar technologies, electric vehicles (EVs) and light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Raven Industries Expands Agreement With CNH Industrial
The use of Raven products and technologies has been expanded further through CNH Industries dealer network with a new, strengthened agreement between the two companies. CNH Industries is the parent company of two well-known agriculture equipment companies, New Holland and Case IH. Paul Welbig, Raven Industries, spoke with Chuck Zimmerman to share more about the new agreement. Raven has provided a lot of technology for both ag equipment brands, especially in application equipment like sprayers and air spreaders, for a number of years. New Online Quiz Tests Antibiotic Knowledge

USDA Reports Lower Turkey Costs for Thanksgiving
The National Turkey Federation reports the USDA's latest weekly survey of advertised retail prices for the consumers' choice of frozen turkey hens dropped 18 cents per pound from the previous week and remained just a penny cheaper per pound than last year in the week before Thanksgiving. MORE
