This week Chuck got on the agriblogging highway to Arlington and the Animal Agriculture Alliance Stakeholders Summit courtesy of Elanco. Elanco wants you to join their Sensible Table initiative and say Enough when it comes to food and food security as we gear up to grow enough food to feed nine billion by 2050. Tweet about it with the hashtag #Feedthe9.

ANDRITZ to Market Tornado Pulper

ANDRITZ Inc. has signed an agreement with Bolton-Emerson Americas, LLC giving ANDRITZ exclusive rights to market and sell the Tornado Pulper for solid and liquid fuel applications, as well as biochemical processes. The Tornado Pulper is Bolton-Emerson's unique technology for preparing non-wood feedstocks (annual fibers, plants, and residues) so that they can be further treated with ANDRITZ technologies for conversion into renewable solid and liquid fuels or biochemicals. New Record Distillers Grains Exports

Distillers grains exports set a new monthly record in March, while U.S. ethanol exports rebounded from the previous month, according to the latest numbers.  MORE

USDA Announces REAP Funding

 
U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Tom Vilsack has announced that the agency is seeking applications from rural small businesses and agricultural producers for funding to make energy efficiency improvements or to install renewable energy systems.
