What's a Saint Mary's degree worth? Well, in some ways, it's incalculable. But in terms of pure return on investment, it's pretty valuable, according to Payscale.com, which has listed Saint Mary's in the top 8% of U.S. colleges and universities surveyed. Saint Mary's is listed as No. 117 out of 1,511 colleges in the survey. The Museum of Art is offering a major exhibition through July 14, including works from the permanent collection by Dürer, Goya, Kandinsky, Rembrandt, Rauschenberg, Warhol and many more. Also on display through July 7 are Bible etchings by Chagall and an exhibit of works by plein air painters Mary Lou Correia and Paul Kratter through September 22.
Provost Beth Dobkin was profiled in Diablo Magazine's "Women to Watch: Think Tank" feature story on innovative individuals with creativity and courage "who are changing the way our world works." Graduate Business alumni and students took their networking event to the ball game for a Battle of the Bay between the Oakland Athletics and the San Francisco Giants. Saint Mary's is always looking for valuable benefits for its alumni. That's why Liberty Mutual Insurance has partnered with the Alumni Association to offer high-quality auto and home coverage at a discounted rate, with proceeds benefiting the Alumni Legacy Scholarship fund. |
