New M.S. in Accounting Program

The School of Economics and Business Administration has announced the launch of a new degree program in response to the increasing demand for accounting professionals and the new California law requiring 150 hours of educational credits to qualify for the CPA exam. The M.S. in Accounting will be offered in a hybrid format starting in July 2013.

More than 350 Gaels, family and friends celebrated a Saint Mary's Christmas at one of our many regional celebrations in December.

YoungGaels Triumph Over Yale and Harvard

Following a 78-62 win over Yale, the men's basketball team pulled off a heart-stopping 70-69 win over Harvard last weekend when Mitchell Young netted two free throws with 1.1 seconds left on the clock.


Rugby Takes Fourth at National Tournament

An impressive showing by the SMC rugby team landed them fourth in the country at the USA Rugby 7s National Tournament. The Gaels picked up wins over Navy, Western Washington, Bowling Green and Texas A&M.

All WCC Games to be Televised

In a first for Saint Mary's, every men's basketball game against our West Coast Conference rivals will be televised this year.


Women's Basketball Hosts Title IX Panel

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the passage of Title IX, the team hosted a panel to discuss the landmark law with local children and their parents.
