The United States Patent Office, under its recently acquired authority
to set its own fees, will implement a major fee adjustment schedule on March 19, 2013, only a few weeks from now. Some fees are down,
others are up, some very substantially. Some of you with pending applications or having maintenance fees coming due may have an opportunity to submit prior to the deadline and avoid the increases.
