Calling Neighborhood Leaders: Join us for a special, half-day training on how to impact housing recovery in your community!

Is your neighborhood still struggling in the aftermath of the foreclosure crisis?  Does your neighborhood have too many vacant or abandoned homes? Are homeowners in your community underwater in their mortgages? Is the perception of your neighborhood preventing new families from relocating there? If you answered 'YES' to one or more of these questions, join us for a special training event for neighborhood leaders - formal leaders, informal leaders and concerned residents!

Neighborhood leaders are invited to participate in a special NeighborWorks Week training event hosted by Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership. This half-day workshop is designed to engage, educate and empower impacted communities. Top experts will share practical, proven strategies to return neighborhoods to health. Join us as we Celebrate Community and discuss three powerful topics.

Loan Modifications

Did you know there are nearly 20 federal programs aimed at helping homeowners stay in their homes? Hear from local professionals who are actively helping homeowners apply for federal and state programs to reduce their monthly mortgage payment and restructure their loans.

Code Enforcement

Want to be a more effective neighborhood advocate?  Need more tools for cleaning up your community, removing blighted properties and reducing crime? This session will provide you with a basic understanding of property law and code enforcement practices.

Lifting Neighborhood Home Values

Are your property values too low? What are people saying about your neighborhood? Are new homeowners looking elsewhere? How can you strengthen demand and boost home sales in your neighborhood? Come learn about current stratgegies underway in Atlanta neighborhoods. Learn from a national expert on how to understand your neighborhood's brand, how to best position your neighborhood assets, reshape your neighborhood image, and ultimately increase buyer demand.

We hope you will join us for this very important half-day of training for neighborhood leaders. Please share this message with others in your community (or other communities) that you feel would be interested in these topics.
