Repair Team": Servants with Hammers

GRACE CHURCH, CAMDEN - Last year, a group of retired professionals at Grace Church Camden got together to form a volunteer organization they call Heartfelt Home Repair. This team of former business managers and doctors receives requests for home repair work from the United Way of Kershaw County, and funds to buy materials are provided by Camden's Christian Community Ministries. Rhett Wolfe Memorial Tennis Classic

Forest Lake club and the family of Rhett Wolfe are pleased to announce the inaugural Rhett Wolfe Memorial Tennis Classic. This event is a men's and women's doubles round robin tournament and will be held at FLC Saturday, April 20, 2015.

Waldo Baroque and Friends to Perform in Highlands, NC to Raise Funds for Ecole Bon Sauveur
On Friday, April 24th, Waldo Baroque and Friends will perform a concert at Church of the Incarnation, Highlands, NC. All proceeds from the concert will benefit Ecole Bon Sauveur in Cange. Church of the Incarnation, Highlands has been involved in the Cange area for 15 years as a direct result of connections between parishioners there and members of EDUSC. If you will be in the NC Mountains that weekend, please attend and encourage your friends to, as well.

Historic Trinity, Abbeville to Host Two Events in French Heritage Festival April 17th - 19th
Ann Hutchinson Waigand of Herndon, VA, daughter of Trinity historian May B. Hutchinson, will speak at 11 am and 2 pm Saturday, April 18th, on Trinity's chancel window; An Open House will be held at Trinity from noon until 4 p.m. April 18, and a garden tour from noon to 5 p.m. that day will include the Robertson-Hutchinson Garden. The Robertsons purchased the property from the family of Col. J. Foster Marshall, the chief benefactor of Trinity Church and one of the Abbeville "Confederate Colonels" who died in the Civil War. The Bridge: an overnight retreat experience at Camp Gravatt for 5th Graders
April 11th and 12th, 2015
Registration Deadline is TOMORROW, Friday, March 20th, 2015!
We are excited to introduce a new diocesan event, the 5th Grade Bridge Retreat. The transition from elementary school to middle school can be a trying time for our children. In addtion, in the Church, they transition from a children's ministry program to the youth program and begin attending EYC and other youth events. For 6th-8th graders, New Beginnings is May 1st - 3rd. The weekend provides youth with the opportunity to build new relationships and renew old ones. It draws youth into a deeper walk with Christ while exploring the reconciliation of relationships. The $116 per person fee includes dinner Friday through lunch on Sunday. New Beginnings is held at Camp Gravatt. Adult chaperones and youth register online here.
