Sports Camps
Summer Basketball Clinic (ages 4 - 11) Session I: June 19 - 23, Session II: June 26 - 30 4 - 5 year olds: 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., 6 - 8 year olds: 11:30 - 1:30 p.m., 9 - 11 year olds: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Cost $30/$37 non resident
Summer Hartnell Basketball Camp (grades 4th - 8th) July 31 - August 4, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Cost: $15.00

Summer Reading Sign-ups
The Summer Reading program is a fun way for youth and adults to keep reading throughout the summer, and join a community of other readers. Register online today and pickup a reading log at your nearest library to track your progress and win great prizes! You can also register in person at all of our Salinas public libraries.
Summer Reading runs June 10 - July 28, 2017. Prizes will be given out for completed reading logs (maximum two per person). You can print a summer reading log here.
Youth ages 14-18 are invited to participate in our first Youth and Government Institute!
From July 5 - 21, 2017, youth will participate in a 3-week summer program at City Hall to learn about our local government, careers in local government, and how to advocate for positive change.
