Single Day Adventures to the Coast
Here's an opportunity to spend the day in the mountains above Monterey Bay, learn about natural habitats, and experience our beautiful coastline. It's an all day outing that is being facilitated by the Ventana Wildlife Society.

This recently published book by Stanford Professor Robert Sapolsky explores
human behavior from a myriad of interrelated perspectives, endeavoring to explain humans' strange and often contradictory behavior.
There's still time to apply for a VISTA (Volunteers In Service to America) position to support efforts to tackle poverty factors in the Alisal neighborhood and the development of the Alisal Vibrancy Plan.
These positions receive a small stipend, and will support Education and Literacy programs in the community and in the library.
