Highlights from the Collection
From our Digital Branch: OverDrive
Bring our library to your living room, and start downloading your favorite books today. Looking for a title? Search our catalogue and it will tell you if the book is available from OverDrive. Then all you have to do is follow the prompts.
Digital borrowing is easier than you think, and once you get started, you might just not stop. Happy reading.
The Geronimo Stilton series is a favorite of early elementary school students. Humorous, written in a similar format as "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" with fun illustrations, these chapter books are as plentiful as they are accessible and easy to read. If your first, second or third grader hasn't discovered these early readers, come into the library and take a look.
This title and other Geronimo Stilton books can be found in our catalog.
VISTA Job Opportunities
We need your help! The City was recently awarded five VISTA (Volunteers In Service to America) positions to support efforts to tackle poverty factors in the Alisal neighborhood and the development of the Alisal Vibrancy Plan. The City is now recruiting these five VISTAs, who will comprise the Alisal Support Team and work together on multifaceted strategies to alleviate poverty in the Alisal neighborhood by focusing on Economic Opportunity, Education, and Healthy Futures. Please help us share with friends, family, colleges and members of the community who might be interested in these paid VISTA positions.
