Community Meeting on Traffic Calming
To be hosted by Kimbley Craig

Salinas, CA -- Salinas residents are invited to a community meeting about traffic calming tonight from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Petra Bible Church.

Attendees will be able to talk with Councilmember Kimbley Craig and their neighbors about traffic calming, which is a way to slow traffic in residential neighborhoods by adding roadway features like speed bumps. Attendees will also learn about traffic study results, sidewalks, and resources available to help make their neighborhoods safer.

Although the focus is on District 5, the event is open to all members of the Salinas community. Spanish interpretation, refreshments, and activities for children will be offered.
This serves as a followup to the first traffic calming meeting held on Aug. 31.
