Salinas Library to host three health fairs
Salinas, CA -- The Salinas Public Library wants to make getting health care easier.
To that end, the Cesar Chavez branch will host "Medical Insurance - Health Options" fairs on Oct. 13, Nov. 10, and Dec. 15.
Each fair, will begin with a brief bilingual presentation about the different medical insurance and health options available. Then, attendees will be invited to chat with staff from local health agencies. They will also be able to sign up for medical services on the spot.
At the fairs will be representatives from the Alliance on Aging, Child Healthy Disability, Clinica de Salud del Valle de Salinas, Community Human Services, Every Woman Counts, Monterey County Choice, Monterey County Rape Crisis Center, Natividad Medical Center, Veterans Affairs, and the YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program.
