Salinas, CA -- The kennels are filling up at Salinas Animal Services with lovable cats and dogs, like Heidi and Rider, who are in need of loving homes.

To help find those homes, adoption fees have been reduced to just $50 through the end of September. That includes spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, vaccines (rabies and annual), applicable licenses, and helpful pet information to help make the adoption a success.

Rider

There are pets of all ages, colors, mixes and personalities. People who might like to adopt one can visit Animal Services at 144 Hitchcock Rd., Salinas (the second shelter on Hitchcock Road).
