Salinas' first dog park opens July 30

Salinas, CA -- An unused acre at Natividad Creek Park will welcome off-leash dogs and their owners starting Saturday, July 30. The City's Animal Services and Recreation and Community Services Division will hold a grand opening ceremony at 10 a.m. that day.

The new dog park is part of the City's plans to enhance residents' quality of life by creating more green spaces.

Admission is free for the July 30 grand opening. Light refreshments will be served.
