The hours of the day are getting shorter and the leaves are slowly falling from the trees. Even though the signs of winter are starting to show, we are still seeing many golfers enjoying the dry conditions of the golf courses. We are already preparing for the upcoming holiday season. We have many events taking place in December, so be sure to read our newsletter! From Santa Brunch, Dickens Lunch Buffet, our festive Pasta Nights and New Year's Eve in Duffey's and the Palmer Room - we are expecting a very busy season.

With the winter season upon us it is important to remember to adjust your tee's for winter play. Gone is the 30 yards of roll your drive enjoyed in July. The heavy, moist air takes distance and carries off of every shot from now until April! If you normally play white tee's, try our new green tee's!
If you play blues in the summer, move to whites, to create similar playing distances with which you are familiar. Also, play "Winter rules" from October through April. This can save you untold aggravation when dealing with leaves, bunker damage or wet areas. It's not July, move that ball and enjoy the round!
