Golf Course Update
AERATION ALERT!!!!!
Northview will be aerating greens on the Ridge course Monday September 22nd and the Ridge will re-open on Saturday September 27th with special reduced aeration rates of $60.00 plus tax.
We will be aerating the Canal course on Monday, September 29th and the Canal will re-open on Saturday October 4th with special reduced aeration rates of $50.00 plus tax.

Northview
A little bit of history...
In September 1994, Northview celebrated with a grand opening day featuring a special visit from course architect Arnold Palmer. Arnie arrived on a beautiful hot morning by helicopter from Vancouver airport with his long time caddy Royce Nielson and co-architect Ed Seay. Already here on the ground was Palmer design groups associate architects Harrison Minchew and Kevin Benedict. An "invitation only" gallery of over 400 was also present to see Mr. Palmer take on the Ridge course for the first time, and to make notes for improvements as he went along.
Mr. Palmer reached the 8th hole, (designed for players of all skill levels to "Go for broke" and drive a par 4 hole like Arnie did at the 1960 US Open at Cherry Hills) he went for the green from the tee and splashed wide left. He politely requested a mulligan and proceeded to nearly hole out as the ball ran past the pin and stopped a few feet right behind the flag, 280 yards from the tee! Somewhat satisfied with that, the (then) 64 year old Palmer hitched up his pants and sank the putt for a great par!
Throughout the round Arnie and his team would confer and make notes on things they would like to see improved upon and thankfully it was a short list. As Arnold said at the post round press conference in the Palmer Room, the Ridge is ready for a PGA TOUR event right now!
Two months later, the PGA TOUR did come calling, and a 1996 tournament began to take shape, just as the "King" had predicted!
