Name: Cassidy Hammel
Title: Business & Acquisitions Manager
Full Time or Part Time: part time, 31 hours per week
Education: "I am currently a senior majoring in psychology at UW-Milwaukee."
Job Duties: "I maintain various monetary accounts and records as well as order all the lendable materials and supplies. I also process all incoming and outgoing payments, mail, packages, etc. "
Favorite Thing To Do At Work: "Ordering, especially new fiction and recently released DVDs! Then, opening those packages when they arrive . . . it feels like Christmas each time."
The One Book You Have Reread The Most: "It's a tie between Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban by J. K. Rowling and Looking For Alaska by John Green."
Personal Info You Want To Share: "I began working at the Delafield Public Library as a shelver when I was a sophomore at Kettle Moraine High School. I did this for the duration of our life on the second floor in the old library, and at the temporary basement location on Wells Street. I became the processor of new items while attending college. Now, eight years after I walked into the cramped 'attic' library, I am eagerly looking forward to the challenge of being the new Business & Acquisitions Manager at our community's beautiful 'new' library."
Favorite Quote Or Saying: The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive, but in finding something to live for.
-Fyodor Dostoyevsky
