Katy's Library Staff Pick:
The Residence by Kate Andersen Brower looks at the private lives of First Families in the White House, told from the viewpoint of the staff who serve them. Beginning with the Kennedy administration and continuing right up to the Obamas, this book covers everything from presidential foibles (Lyndon Johnson waged a five-year war against the White House's weak water pressure), to defining moments of history (Usher J.B. West stayed on duty for three days straight to assist Jacqueline Kennedy in the wake of her husband's assassination). This a must-read for anyone interested in the American presidency. We will be discussing The Residence at our March adult book club (led by yours truly, please see our website under Programs for details). Please join us!

Insider Tips . . . From Zach
Tax time can be frightening. But we, at the Delafield Public Library, are trying to make it as easy as possible by being one of the only places around to pick up 2015 tax forms and booklets. Stop in and grab what you need from our tax table near the new books. Don't look now, but April 15th is creeping up on you.
