Diane's Library Staff Pick:
John Wick

What makes John Wick a great way to spend an hour and forty-one minutes is that it takes the revenge-against-the-villain stereotype and stands it on its head. Yes, a lot of bullets fly, but they do so with such cinematic flair! Keanu Reeves puts his heart (and muscles) into every impressive fight scene, and the dialog is top notch - interspersed with meaningful looks that convey many of the unnecessary words used by longtime associates. The ending was so perfectly touching and unexpected that I couldn't help spending the next day talking it up. This movie assured its place in my personal library.
