Anna's Library Staff Pick:
Summer At Tiffany
It is the summer of 1945. College students Marjorie Jacobson and her best friend Marty Garrett leave their Kappa House at the University of Iowa to New York City in hopes of finding summer jobs as "shopgirls." In their search, they are hired and make history by becoming the first female pages at Tiffany & Company. Marjorie does a wonderful job at retelling their experiences (including chance encounters with celebrities), including letters home, in this true story.
Anna's Staff Pick Can Be Found In:
Nonfiction (381.141092 HAR)
Also in Audio Book and Large Print from our online catalog.
