Terry's Library Staff Pick:
Ordinary Grace
A Novel Of Mystery And Faith
Forty years after the summer of 1961, Frank Drum, son of a Methodist minister, takes a retrospective look at the tragic events that occurred in his small town of New Bremen, Minnesota. I enjoyed the time period when families dined on fried baloney and jello, attended church every Sunday, and allowed their children to roam freely. The fact that I solved this mystery did not diminish my enjoyment of this beautifully written coming-of-age novel by William Kent Krueger. The audio version was excellent and includes an interview with the author.
