Display Your Art
At The Delafield Public Library
Library patron Dale Kastberg admires the library's art display by local students of Susan Farmer-Tiefenthaler who teaches the Art Studio For Adults class at the Delafield Fish Hatchery. We overhear compliments about the beautiful and original artwork on a regular basis. Our art display rotates monthly, with the months September through December 2015 open to feature your artistic creations. Please see our application form and policy on the library website under Library Services>Art Displays, or just stop in.

We want to showcase our community's art
at the Delafield Public Library.

Steve's
Library Staff Pick:
Dead Wake:
The Last Crossing Of The Lusitania
Dead Wake is author Erik Larson's narrative of the people, events, and political machinations that culminated in one of the most tragic maritime tragedies in history - the sinking of the Lusitania. Larson interweaves portraits of passengers, crew members, and the Lusitania itself with those of the U-boat captain and crew, along with both the German and British politicians and military leaders to create an engrossing story. The author has created a must-read account of how the United States was finally dragged into World War I. This book transcends dry history, bringing it to life.
