Pat's
Library Staff Pick:
Around The World In 50 Years
Pat Plamann
In Around the World In 50 Years: My Adventure To Every Country On Earth, author Albert Podell has flown, driven, or ridden (including various animals) through massive monsoons, volcanic eruptions, civil wars, earthquakes, tsunami, snowstorms, and more. He has survived attacks by anaconda snakes, hippos, water buffalos, crocodiles, giant leeches, and a lynch mob in Pakistan. He has eaten every kind of tasty or disgusting food. Mr. Podell is just an ordinary guy, and he tells both the funny and the dangerous. I was constantly amazed; you will love his hilarious comments and methods of coping!

Insider Tip . . . from Marcy:  helpful tips
There is a book you must have and can't find it in our Waukesha County Federated Library System catalog of 16 libraries. Chances are we may be able to order it from a library outside our county system through Inter Library Loan. Forms are available at the front circulation desk for your convenience.
