The Delafield Public Library will feature a special Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness display featuring information, books, and brochures during the month of June. Just look for the purple balloons. A Memory Cafe is a place for those with early-stage memory loss and their care partners to connect and socialize. Our theme for June 5 at Delafield is "Herbs For The Senses." Please see website librarymemoryproject.org for more information. Memory Cafe meets monthly, taking turns at different Waukesha County libraries.

New App Available For
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a free program that helps you read 1,000 books with your child before he or she enters school. Provide your child with a solid foundation of reading - the key to learning success. Now, the new app makes is even easier as you are able to scan the publisher's barcode with your smart phone. Find this cool app in the Apple App Store (for Apple devices) and Google Play Store (for Android devices). Brought to you by the Waukesha Country Federated Library System in partnership with UW-Milwaukee's App Brewery.
