Emily's Library Staff Pick:

The End Of Always:  A Novel
In 1907 Wisconsin, 17-year-old Marie is determined she will NOT marry a violent man, as did her mother and grandmother. Set in the lush woods and small towns of Wisconsin (mostly in Waukesha), and inspired by real events in the the author's family history, The End Of Always by Randi Davenport is a transcendent story of one woman's desperate efforts to escape a brutal heritage, and a testament to the power of determination and hope.

Honored Volunteers
Shawn, Aidan, Nova Murphy
The Murphy family enjoys giving back to the Delafield community by keeping the children's library in order. Both Aidan and Nova attend Magee Elementary School. Aiden loves science projects, soccer, and Legos. Nova enjoys school activities, which may lead to a career in teaching someday. Shawn accompanies them (frequently taking their bikes to the library) and helps where needed, while keeping up with his reading of authors Cormac McCarthy, Ambrose Bierce, and Ray Bradbury.
Thank you Shawn, Aidan, and Nova.

Ever wonder what that little blue phone icon to the left of the call number on our online catalog is for? Once you have found an item and want its call number, you may have it texted to your mobile device by clicking on the blue phone icon after clicking either the Find It or Details (not Place A Hold) red buttons.
