Easy chapter books (such as the Magic Tree House series) are perfect for children who have excelled beyond beginning readers but are not ready for large chapter books (such as Harry Potter).  They are located in blue bins on the J Fiction shelves; please ask us where to find them.  They are ideal for keeping your second grader reading this summer.
